Marshall Ginn is an avid lover of the arts.  He studied architectural history at the University of Virginia School of Architecture, graduating in 1986.  He studied painting with the Arlington Artists Alliance, working with Cynthia Gilmour and at The Art League School, working with Bobbie Pratte.   He lives in the Washington, DC metropolitan region, where he is active in the nonprofit sector.  He founded and manages a consulting firm - Capital Development Strategies - which provides strategic and advisory services to nonprofits, associations, funders and businesses.  He serves on the grant review panel for the UPSTART capacity building grant program for the DC Commission for the Arts and Humanities.  Every summer, he visits Mt. Desert Island in Maine, where the beauty of Acadia has inspired many of his works.
